01 — What ships
Your message, designed and deployed
One page, fully custom, live in days
A single responsive web page — custom layout, typography, and color system matched to your brand. Content structured for clarity. Deployed on your domain, no CMS, no hosting fees. You own everything.
When the story needs a picture
Everything in Standard, plus custom illustrations, infographics, or data visualizations designed into the page. For topics where showing beats telling.
Two languages from the first draft
Any package with a full Spanish version — designed bilingually from day one. Bicultural layout and typography that reads like it was written in both languages, because it was.
02 — How it works
One conversation, one site
You describe the issue, event, or product. I ask the right questions, structure the content, and make the design decisions — all from one head. No committee, no rounds of approvals between departments, no waiting on a chain of vendors.
The speed comes from the process: one person who understands the subject, makes the design calls, and builds the thing. Fewer handoffs mean fewer delays and a better result.
Research, design, and production — brief to live URL. Bilingual EN/ES.
03 — Who it’s for
You have something to explain
A policy. A product launch. A ballot measure. A gala. A cause. You need people to understand it — not next month, now. An infosite turns your message into a URL you can point any audience at: voters, donors, press, partners, customers.
A ballot measure campaign needs a voter-education page that makes a complex policy readable in two minutes.
An agency’s client has a product announcement and no landing page. Custom-branded, live by Friday.
A nonprofit needs a page that tells the story, lists the honorees, and gives people a reason to show up.
A startup needs a clean page for their investor pitch — who they are, what they built, one URL to share.
04 — Work
See it live
justtheconstitution.org
The complete U.S. Constitution as a single static site
Full-text search, three reading modes, side-by-side parchment facsimiles, WCAG accessible. Zero infrastructure — static files, no server, no database. The format KiyViz builds for clients, built for the public.

05 — About
A studio of one, by design.
KiyViz is the studio of Derek Kiy — infosites that explain one thing clearly, designed and deployed fast. Background in exhibition production at Ralph Appelbaum Associates in New York, political communications through Oberlin College (B.A. Politics) and the London School of Economics, and bilingual design for policy organizations across the U.S. and Mexico.
Independent since 2022. Based in Escondido, California. Bilingual EN/ES — drafting in both languages from the first wireframe, not translating after the fact.
