Editorial Museo Ruta de Plata reached out for help with preparing new editions of of two books: The Adventures of Stickeen in Lower California 1874 and Royal officer in Baja California, 1768-1770: Joaquín Velázquez de Léon. The series needed a fresh, modern look for the new editions that shared a common design language to unify the previously un-related novels.

The cover for The Adventures of Stickeen utilized historical imagery featured throughout the novel. The Royal Officer adapted a historical oil painting of Joaquín Velázquez de Léon to the Museo Ruta de Plata style.
